CAULIFLOWER STEAK

Cauliflower is the starchy potato for no carb eaters. There is mock of mashed potatoes with cauliflower. In India cauliflower is used to make subji (vegetable based curry with peas or potatoes), kurma (coconut based curry) or bhajji (deep fried fritters). It is just like potatoes. This dish is super simple and it used only olive oil, salt and pepper to flavor the dish. You can make more flavorful by smearing mayonnaise on top.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cauliflower, cut into 05 inches (as seen in the pictures)
  • Olive oil to spray
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the skillet. Gently place the cauliflower steak and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium low flame. Cook on high flame for a minute to get the grill marks. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
